Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Walter Parrott found his love for hunting & fishing at a very early age thanks to his father Melvin Parrott. What started out as putting food on the table, turned into a lifelong passion that Walter enjoys sharing with others. Walter started competitive turkey calling in 1978 and is the only person to win every major turkey calling contest. Walter is a 5-time World Champion, 5-time Grand National Champion, 3-time Team Grand National Champion, 14-time U.S. Open Champion and has won The Masters, Mid-America Open and many state and local competitions. In addition to Realtree, Walter is on the RedHead Pro Hunting Team for Bass Pro Shops. He’s co-hosted several outdoor shows in the past and now is passing along his knowledge and love for hunting and fishing with his good friend and business partner Chuck Jones.
