One of the most challenging things that I have to deal with is picking the right recipient for the MVP Award of Excellence. In every issue, life seems to present itself at the last hour and the right recipient shines like a star for me to see. This award is as big as any award, but this one is extra special because it is for the glory of the great outdoors.

Rhett and Sam were invited to hunt in Illinois by Ben Plattner owner of Timberland Outfitters. Ben invited CGH co-founders up to see what the great state of Illinois has to offer in hopes of bringing CGH-non profit up in the future for the first ever CGH "deerHunt". While there Sam/Rhett were busy meeting with key Ill. Game & Fish officials as well as media representaives from both radio/print. They obviously wanted to experience the bowhunting first hand as well. Rhett's Monster buck might be the biggest free roaming 8pt ever shot on camera with a bow and arrow.
